As we embark upon the new year, 2024, Two Shoes Dance Academy would like to share and reflect on our studio’s achievements in 2023!
We loved watching you all grow, take on new challenges and learn new techniques. We have enjoyed seeing you show your ambition, your energy and your awesome personalities.
So much work was done behind the scenes to ensure that all of you and your families got the best out of Two Shoes Dance Academy last year.
Costume Fitting Fun
Thanks to our dancers, parents and team for your ongoing help and support! Here are some of the best moments of 2023 😃
- Our ‘Bring a friend week’ was a huge success. We’re looking forward to bringing you more of those in 2024! Students love sharing their love of dance with their friends and had a ball at their Easter disco party.
- We ran more parties and celebrated more birthdays at the studio! Check out our website for more details!!
- Our Senior ballet students commenced the perfect pointe program as they are now preparing for pointe shoes! Students looking to get onto pointe will have their physio assessments over the holidays.
- Our first mid year open day was a huge success, it was a fantastic way for families to see their dancer’s progress during the year.
- Select students participated in their exams in October! Our exam students did an amazing job demonstrating beautiful technique and performance quality. The results have been fantastic, and we are so proud.
- Our dancers and team finished the year by performing in two shows of our Toybox production.
- Mr Mike filmed our dancers and downloadable footage is still available to purchase through the school. Please reach out to Carla for more information.
Behind the scenes of our Toybox production – we all worked hard to put our show together. Costumes, lighting, choreography, energy, practice, time and effort. It was all worth it. The students knuckled down and exceeded our expectations. What a great time we spent together to get this right!

Our Christmas Party was also a great success!
It was so good to see you all at our Christmas Party late last year! We loved meeting parents and seeing all the students having fun. Thanks so much for coming and bringing a plate of goodies – very tasty!
It was fun to perform our Christmas dance routine and get everyone moving!!!
The Award Ceremony and Presentation is not only a reflection of our students hard work, but also of our school as a whole. We want to see successful and happy, thriving students. We want to teach our students not only the beauty of dance, but important key skills and values, such as discipline, determination, patience, fun, friendship and our core values of respect, energy, connection, bravery and expression.
