Introducing Miss Simone Ferguson to the Team
We are so please to have Miss Simone Ferguson (formally Simone Woolley) join the Two Shoes Dance Team in 2018. Simone studied dance full time on a government scholarship at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, a year below TSDA Director Caroline White. She has taught all styles of dance all over Melbourne for the last 7 years, currently for Stepping Out, Ready Set Dance and Mordialloc Community Dance Centre. Simone is employed as a dancer by Crown Casino and previously by cruise ship companies, as well as working in the televison and film industry recently on shows such as Deal or No Deal and Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation. Simone will be taking private tuition on Friday afternoons fortnightly and we are sure our students will love her and the nurturing approach she takes with her teaching.
Exciting New Classes in 2018
Adult Dance Fit – Mondays
Looking for a fun way to keep fit? Our new adult dance classes are just for you! Raise your fitness levels, expect improved coordination and sense of rhythm whilst toning your body, strengthening your core and increasing your flexibility. The class will also include elements of barre work and pilates and are a fantastic social outlet. Catering for all levels, it’s never too late to begin a new journey!!
Kids YOGA – Tuesdays
Yoga allows students to understand their bodies on a deeper level, enhance flexibility and strength, as well as engage and calm the mind and provide a strong sense of focus. Yoga lengthens developing muscles, complimenting students dance and ballet training. Our Kids YOGA class will be run by our new Two Shoes Dance team member Brodie Sertkan. Brodie has completed her 200hr Power Yoga teacher training and currently teaches at several yoga schools across Melbourne.
GLEE CLUB (Lvl 1 Jazz + Vocals) – Saturdays
The perfect combination class for students moving up from our kinder musical theatre program. Preparing dancers for their Southern Federation of Dance level one jazz exam whilst also continuing to develop the skills to integrate vocals into their musical theatre performances!
Kinder Ballet Extension Program – Saturdays
A new program developed for our slightly older kinder ballet students, that we feel will benefit from more advanced course work in preparation for commencing level one ballet.
Private Tuition in 2018
The best way to fast track students progress is with one on one classes. Any dancers wishing to further their studies and deepen their knowledge can contact Carla on 0403188490 to book their places for private classes in the new year.

Our Early Bird Booking Special
Book your 2018 classes before Friday December 22 2017 to receive a $20 discount off your 2018 enrolment levy, which covers administration and insurance for your family in 2018. Pay $70 instead of $90 and also receive a complimentary adult ticket to our 2018 annual production! It is important to enrol your child in your preferred classes as we only offer small class sizes with very limited spaces.

Summer School Holiday Program / Extended Dancing Daycare
A reminder that we are planning to run a summer school holiday program in January, that will offer extended hours of care- perfect for our working families. Spaces will be very limited. And we will keep you posted on dates once they are finalised!
