Adults Dance Fit
A little bit more about Dance Fit …
Dance fit was developed by instructor Brodie Carruthers Sertkan from a need to move in a way that was fun, feminine and challenging. Keeping the muscles strong at the same time as flexible. Life is what you make it, dance fit will provide the space for you to have fun and empower your body from inside out.

“Dancefit is definitely a different way to work the core and booty out. Each week Brodie gives me challenges to focus on which are tailored to each individual. Weights are used in the workout as a way to activate and strengthen these muscles. Brodie has taught me to control these muscles vigorously. An awesome and inspiring woman with a great playlist to keep you energised, motivated, and calm at the end.”
The cardiovascular (CV) training component offers easy to follow moves that will make you sweat but also give you to space to break out of monotonous ways of moving. The most important part is to loose yourself to the beat and let yourself get energised.
The strength component will challenge all small muscles such as pelvic floor and deep abdomen, as well as hips, arms, and booty. The toning and sculpting combinations may use light leg and arm weights, resistance bands and kettlebells
and are designed to target areas specific to where you’d like to see improvements.
Cool down provides slow deep stretches to open your body up, developing a new perhaps unknown flexibility as well as assisting in maintaining a healthy relaxed body and state of mind.
The cardio session gives your heart, lungs and circulatory system and the other muscle groups that are used a good workout. CV training burns calories and is your primary tool for weight management. Endorphins are released during this type of exercise and are the ‘feel-good’ hormones that give you a buzz after a workout.
There are also countless health and fitness benefits associated with muscle toning and sculpting type exercise. It helps to increase your CV endurance and promotes effective weight loss, as well as promoting strong bones and a decreased risk of osteoporosis. Improving your muscular strength allows you to perform common daily activities with less effort. Muscle toning helps with pain reduction as the muscles become stronger in supporting bones and joints. Other benefits include improved posture, balance and coordination and a strengthened immune system.
Stretching your body to become more supple and flexible offers many physical benefits. Such training allows for easier and deeper movements while building strength and stability. Stretching your muscles and joints also leads to greater range of motion, it lowers the risk of injury, and helps to keep a positive state of mind and improves physical performance.
